Transport research organisation New AutoMotive had an opportunity to occupy some last-minute billboard placements at COP26. I was commissioned to lead the project, from concepting and messaging through to contracting designers, 3D modellers and photography of the billboards in-situ. We used the placements to send a strong message to delegates, directly addressing COP countries to commit to the phase-out of polluting cars and to support the electric transition. We carried through our campaign line "Don't Choke. Take Charge." to a landing page that coincided with the billboard activation to apply further pressure.
The project was successfully turned around in just under a week.
